Richard Skiffington lives on a lifestyle block between Rotorua and Taupo and has worked for Terra Cat since September 2014.
Before that, Richard had 30 years of experience with Caterpillar dealers globally starting as an apprentice Boilermaker. Since then, he has worked in various countries including Australia, China and Colombia. Throughout this time Richard has worked in Service Parts and Sales roles in various management capacities.
Richard’s responsibilities at Terra include:
Overseeing parts and service operations
Continuous improvement of parts and service
Overall inventory control
Overall responsibility for asset excellence including analytical and connectivity
It’s great to be instrumental in working on the future of the dealership and our customer’s needs going forward. I’m proud to work for a world-class Caterpillar dealer and privileged to be involved in its ongoing success and improvement. I am passionate about meeting our customer’s and employees’ needs to deliver great outcomes for all.
While not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, ocean fishing and travelling.
